1) PREPARE DOCUMENT
-- Open a bulletin document (not the 11am version)
-- "Save As" and change the Sunday Marking and the date
2) COVER PICTURE
-- go to http://www.servicioskoinonia.org/cerezo/ and click on the correct year

Find the picture that best matches the Gospel Reading -- They should be in order
3) PRAYER OF THE DAY
- Go to http://archive.elca.org/pdafeeds/lectionary.html and copy correct "Prayer of the Day" and paste it in "Collect of the Day"

4) READINGS
Go to http://www.lectionarypage.net/ and find correct date
Isaiah 5:1-7
Psalm 80:1-2, 8-18
or
Jeremiah 23:23-29
Psalm 82
Hebrews 11:29-12:2
Luke 12:49-56
if there are two sets of readings (OT and Psalm) we will use the 2nd set (OT and Psalm) of the lectionary -- this is the sem-continuous, the 2nd is complementary.
- Cut and paste each section into the word document (make sure to select "keep text")
- Change the 1st Reading, Psalm, 2nd Reading and Gospel
4) PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
- Go to

**** USing the Office PRinter to make copies ******
1) Print out Master 1-sided
2) starting with 2nd sheet, flip up-side down every other page. ( First is normal)
3) Press copy menu
- select "Two-Sided"
- Select "1 to 2 sided"
Press start copy
************************ Creating a Booklet *****************
for letter size booklets
OpenOffice
- format/page go to page tab
- set "paper format" width - 5.5" , height 8.5" and orientation is "portrait"
- go to File/Printer Settings and click on "options. . ." button
- on the "pages" column -- check "left pages", "right pages", and "brochure"
- click "OK"
- back in "printer setup" click on "properties . . ." button
- in "main" tab select "2-sided(book)" for document style
- in "Paper" tab select "letter" for paper size and select "Landscape" for orientation
- click OK
Print

go to "Page Layout" and click on "page Setup"
- on "Margins" tab select .25" for margins and 0" for gutter
Orientation is portrait
on pages select "book fold" and "auto" for sheets per booklet
Paper is Letter (on Paper tab)
printer options - set to print "2-sided(book)
